Why Kenya legal education is in crisis
Kenya’s legal education system is facing a deepening crisis, with recent Bar exam results revealing a pass rate of less than 25%. While universities are often blamed, the real issues may lie within the Kenya School of Law’s training methodologies, exam standards, and the financial burden placed on students. A holistic reform is urgently needed to restore credibility and fairness to the path of becoming an advocate.
